Unlike IPL this tournament was held in summer months but the timing was 6am to 11.30am, two days matches,final three days, held at Lucknow.This HSL (Hindustan Steel Limited), later on changed to SAIL(Steel Authority Of India).The name was probably changed because of the word Hindustan.This was in the year 1972-73.
