FLAMES OF FURY:
The burning of railway coach at Delang railway station (OP front page,18th) is reflection of our culture in the name of God. The Jaganath culture from time immemorial preaches the word of love and peaceful coexistence among the human community. The character of culture is generosity and endurance and coordination. No culture or religion in whatsoever manner would tolerate the way the people of Odisha are indulging in, like burning of brides, sacrificing children, electrocuting elephants and burning of public property. One of the major salient feature of culture of Lord Jaganath is tolerance which is an outstanding human value propagated by culture of Lord Jaganath which postulates with every way of life as its contribution in its specific way to the human welfare. With the Nabakalebara festival coming up fast, the culture of Odiyas are turning to Flames and Fury, sorry to watch these criminal activities of people of Delang very near to the temple of Lord Jaganath. Hope the criminals are not allowed to spread fire and terror amongst the pilgrims who are contemplating coming to watch the car festival of Puri.
