The boy on the left is none other than Durga, hero of many of Sanjoy's stories. Now a member of Sanjoy's family, Durga has spent his life with the Satpathys.

Dr. Sanjoy Satpathy, in the foot-steps of his late father Basanta Kumar Satpathy has established himself as an eminent Oriya short-story writer. After his long stint of more than 30 years in IGH, Rourkela as a physician, he's now settled at Bhubanswar. Sanjoy is currently working as a consultant physician in Ayush Hospital, Bhubaneswar and has plunged deep into social and medical commentaries along with writting short stories both in Oriya and English.
