
Vedavyas. A tourist spot about 12 kilometers from
Rourkela steel city. A fortnight long Mela is the main
attraction during Siva Ratri time. This photograph shows
the river Brahamani which is formed by the union of river
SANKHA and KOLELI.
Dr. Sanjoy Satpathy, in the foot-steps of his late father Basanta Kumar Satpathy has established himself as an eminent Oriya short-story writer. After his long stint of more than 30 years in IGH, Rourkela as a physician, he's now settled at Bhubanswar. Sanjoy is currently working as a consultant physician in Ayush Hospital, Bhubaneswar and has plunged deep into social and medical commentaries along with writting short stories both in Oriya and English.
