VEDAVYAS AND BRAMHANI RIVER

Confluence of river Koel and Sankha at Vedavyas is the beginning of a river of Odisha-BRAHMANI.The famous Mahabharat(some part) was written by the famous sage Vedavyas at this place hence the name.If you look carefully you can distinguish clearly the two different colour of water , the bottom picture is that of river Brahmani.This place is around 12 kilometers from Rourkela  steel township.
