CORRUPTION A WAY OF LIFE

CORRUPTION  AS A WAY OF LIFE:

Corruption is not only confined to India but has also  become a global phenomenon. The word corruption  is synonymous with politics and richness. There is a saying that a noble man, uncorrupt, sincere and learned person can seldom become rich, when someone becomes suddenly rich it’s at the cost of the poor and the common man. People join politics to live like kings. Those  Raja , Maharaja,Prince,Princes and Queens of yester years are now replaced by  Politicians, Industralists,Businessman,Mafias,Film producers and film stars and some sports persons in Golf, Cricket & Tennis.
We will concentrate on Indian politicians. Around 75%  are corrupt,10% are very corrupt,5% are very very corrupt, only a handful are less corrupt but once they join the ministry they too become corrupt. It’s like this “If you get in to dirty water your body and cloths will get the dirt”, so no escape, there is no place for good people in Indian politics. Majority are rags to riches story through corruptions.
Recently Indian politicians mud slinging behavior is like slum dwellers. If someone tries to bring the corrupt to the knowledge of the public, the ruling party unleash its power in the form of CBI, Police, Income Tax, Vigilance and Dadagiri.Whether it’s Congress or BJP the two big parties of India have many corrupt people but the numbers are more in the former party, Ministers from certain parts of India are very corrupt. The BJP president who was looking like a wrestler (weight lose on doctor’s advice &? diabetes) has been exposed by the Anna & Kejriwala group and congress ministers. He should resign immediately to save his party. Whereas the corrupt politicians were changed to better post and sincere one changed to powerless post in recent reshuffling of ministers in the UPA ministry, so much is the concern of our docile PM about corruption? The media, TV and news papers are in the hands of these corrupt politicans who are in power, hence people of India gets a confusing picture through media.
The  corruption can only be stopped or reduced  if our young generation gets up from their comfort zones and  try to do something for the country but unfortunately they are happy staying abroad and enjoying the best of both the world and leading a comfortable life . They travel by air telling that “ train journey is very boring”, eat 5* food, mineral water while in India. Rest of their time is spent on iPod, cinema, cricket matches and girl friends and shows off as very patriotic Indian. They only know how to argue, thanks to Google and media they can pull down your legs on any topic. Some of them can go up to the extent of blaming their parents and senior citizens.
To summaries the corrupt politicians should be jailed and a new India should start its actual independence from 2014, 1st January. The constitution has to be changed(it’s out dated like cassette players) and a new one should be made with modifications, like no reservation in any field, compete and be successful, quick decisions on crime like China, hanging to be changed to death by Poisoned injections or electric chair or bullets( firing practice for our Olympic shooters). These are all day dreams, India with all these corrupt politicians and comfort seeking next generation is just trying to prove what this “astrologer” said about Indian ,66 years back > Sir Winston Churchill . . . argument against granting India / Pakistan Independence. . . ."Power will go to rascals, rogues, freebooters. . . .All leaders will be of low caliber & men of straw. . .
They'll have sweet tongues & silly hearts . . . They will fight amongst themselves for power & the two countries will be lost in political squabbles. . . .
A day would come when even air & water will be taxed."

  1. With reference to your paragraph about the current generation, when you say "young generation gets up from their comfort zones", dont you think the young generation is doing EXACTLY that? They've made tremendous progress in the field of technology, medicine, science, philosophy and any field that you can name, and progress cannot be made unless people venture out of their comfort zones to seek something new, something better. So how do you say that the young generation is not venturing outside of their comfort zones?
"but unfortunately they are happy staying abroad and enjoying the best of both the world and leading a comfortable life ." There are millions of youngsters staying in this very country and carving brilliant paths for themselves, so why this focus on the few that do not live in this country? For those that choose to go abroad, can you mention one reason why they shouldn't? Why should people not seek better education, better lifestyles, better livelihoods, better lives if they believe that living abroad provides them with all of this? With the 49% reservation, its not like the government has made getting high-quality education a matter of sheer merit.
"They travel by air telling that “ train journey is very boring”, eat 5* food, mineral water while in India. " So when people travel from say New York to Delhi, they ought to take a train, instead of a flight?? For people who do not get weeks of vacation, and do not stay merely an overnight trip away from their hometowns, taking a flight ensures that they reach their destination faster and can spend more time with their families, and you have a problem with that because..? It's very amusing how you seem to concentrate on the few people who live this life that you talk about, and not the millions that lead simple lives, travel by trains, eat at the roadside kiosks and drink tap water. By the way, when was the last time you ate a roadside kiosk I ask.
"Rest of their time is spent on iPod, cinema, cricket matches and girl friends and shows off as very patriotic Indian. They only know how to argue, thanks to Google and media they can pull down your legs on any topic. Some of them can go up to the extent of blaming their parents and senior citizens."
If the above were true, then surely Jaspal Rana, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Ankit Fadia, Sachin Pilot, Omar Abdullah, Abhinav Bindra, Chetan Bhagat, Arundhati Roy etc. would have been fictional characters instead of being real live people.
If you are unable to accept valid debates for what they are and instead choose to classify them as mere arguments then either you are unable to reply back with acceptable logic or you cannot reply back at all. "Pull down your legs" is a phrase that I have never heard before and hence cannot comprehend, so I shall assume that it means that Google and the media aid the younger generation in replying back and questioning your flawed manner of reasoning. Ipod or music, cinema, cricket matches and girlfriends are not novel factors and have been around for ages, and have influenced your generation just as much as the younger generation. Also, not all of every youngster's time is spent on these, there are lot of young men and women that have successful careers and thus, your argument is absolutely baseless and flawed. As for blaming parents and senior citizens, it's not age that makes you correct, it's logic, reasoning and understanding, hence the expectation that just because you are older, you will always be right, is unreasonable, because like I've proved several times above, you can be wrong too!
