The name of the cyclone which is going to hit Odisha and Andhra has been named after this beautiful bird called Hudhud, some call it Hoopoe.This is the position of the cyclonic storm at 1PM-India time.

Dr. Sanjoy Satpathy, in the foot-steps of his late father Basanta Kumar Satpathy has established himself as an eminent Oriya short-story writer. After his long stint of more than 30 years in IGH, Rourkela as a physician, he's now settled at Bhubanswar. Sanjoy is currently working as a consultant physician in Ayush Hospital, Bhubaneswar and has plunged deep into social and medical commentaries along with writting short stories both in Oriya and English.
