SOCIAL SERVICE

SOCIAL SERVICE:
There was a health checkup (24-10-17) of teaching and non teaching stuffs of Pandhda high school, during my recent visit to our parental village .Two of my books were gifted to the school library. In the afternoon I gave a lecture on prevention of ‘diabetes mellitus’ to the class IX and classX students. Out of 65 students 25 were girl students rest were males. Majority were SC and ST students. None of students was obese nor anyone wearing glasses. The headmaster and other teachers were very cooperative. I had taken my stethoscope BP instrument for the purpose. I have found out a way of devoting my spare time of post retired life for social service in remote villages of Mayurbhanj. Most of the teachers were not happy with the MDM system in Schools. They said lots of money is being sanctioned by the central government but being siphoned out mid way. My next target will be Budhikhamari Nodal High school, near Bangiriposi.
