CWG--2018

That's it for India at CWG 2018 - they've finished with 26 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze medals - overall tally of 66 medals which is the third best in their history after Delhi 2010 (101 medals) and Manchester 2002 (69 medals).This time 221 athletes + equal number of officials were sent to gold coast,Australia.Most of the coaches were from out side India.Most of the medals were won in shooting and badminton.India finished with wooden spoon in it's national game hockey.Due to stable Government led by Narandra Modi+government encouragement + lots of money given as prize money by different state,rather there is a competition amongst chief ministers who paid the maximum!Hope our athletes improve in next Olympics which is the real test of quality.Congratulations to our winners.
