CHANGING OF NAMES IS
MOST DISGUSTING? (My Editorial)
It seems after independence changing the names of roads, airports,
railway junctions,stadium,school, university and name it has been changed,
that’s the only progress we have made ?Now a day the awards for literature,
social service, music and other activities are named after persons whom none of
us knew in last seventy years ! I checked with octogenarian, they too said “we
have never heard these freedom fighters and writers, names”? Our press editors
also write bogus editorials but rarely
on these issues like new names, statues,new temples and internal
terrorists and anti Indian activities of intellectuals?No one writes on IPL and
how it has ruined test cricket due to premature retirement of famous and good
players ! We do not find a neutral news paper in India, everyone has a
political master! Even editors change party so also the news? Our highest court
must step down and pass an order that in next 50 years, no new names of places or
institutions can be changed. But hold on—2019 will see the 1862 name back?
Change of names is the easiest thing a political party could do to satisfy
their ego?
