The 2012 phenomenon was a range of eschatological beliefs that cataclysmic or Trans formative events would occur around 21 December 2012.This date was regarded as the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. But the world did not come to an end due to wrong calculation and some other factor we do not know. Trains travelling a distance of two thousand kilometers get late by few hours to even days due to different reasons so also the calculation and gravitational force of different stars and planets changed the course of this meteorite travelling millions of miles, hence we are saved except some destruction at Russia on February, 15th 2013 due to a meteorite (2012DA14) going past earth some 17150 miles above earth.
So there is every chance that someday a much bigger meteorite may hit the earth causing massive destruction which no human gadgets can fore cast or destroy, this was a warning from the almighty God to remind men kind that they are not the supreme.
