THINK TWICE:
Modern day doctor’s
prescriptions whether you are a heart patient or diabetic or cancer or
arthritis or have constipation would contain one common drug of varying price
for so called acidity—gas? Remember gas and acidity terms are mostly used by
patients. The doctor would prescribe for no reasons, one of the drugs like
rabeprazol, roxatidin, omeprazol, pantoprazol, and few more prazols.Old timer
may prescribe ranitidine or famotidin. These drugs are meant for proved ulcers in stomach and duodenum,
not for digestion. Many educated persons, even doctors and their children take
this over the counter drug for digestion, chest burning, belching and too much
of flatus. But taking these drugs results in more production of flatus of
varying intensity.
Most of them reduce
Hcl output of stomach.
Decreased stomach acid output can have a number of negative consequences
on the digestive system, because stomach acid assists the breakdown of
proteins, stimulates the pancreas and small intestine to
produce digestive enzymes, and also prevents pathogens and unhealthy
bacteria from moving further down the digestive system. Lifestyle changes,
along with getting older, can affect your digestive tract, and increase your
risk of developing a digestive disorder.
Friends,
please think twice before swallowing these costly capsules and tablets, they
are useless unless you have an ulcer in your stomach. Remember it may lead to
delay in diagnosis of stomach cancers. Even antacid gels like gelusil, diovol,
milk of mag, digene and many more are wastage of money. These antacids get
bound to your costly medicines and the effectiveness gets reduced.
