IMPACT OF DOLLAR AND PETROL ON COMMON MAN?

IMPACT OF DOLLAR AND PETROL ON COMMON MAN?(INDIA)

Every day news paper headlines deal with rain, flood—bridge collapse and dollar price! The price of PetrolRs: 75/- Dollar Rs: 100/. My family use public transport and Indian goods .We do not find our monthly expenditure to have sky rocketed in last one year or so. A senior citizen railway ticket in an express train for 200 kilometers remains the same for last ten years! A kg of rice was Rs:28/- now also it’s the same, Good brand Packeted Atta two kg Rs:60/-, no change, sugar-salt—suji—besan,oils price are the same no change even our ministers and press headlines  comment-- petrol and dollar would touch hundred !Vegetables price everywhere in Odisha, is reasonable in spite of the incessant rain. Friends be frank-tell me really the petrol price and the dollar has any impact on your family life? Unless you have fifty cars or import export business? Every one of us know why the petrol price is high and how much state and central government get from tax from one liter but like ostrich we hide our head inside our news papers. There is a limit to criticism be it NDA or UPA! Let’s be frank and accept the truth! Most of the FB members have sons or son in-laws in foreign land and they are very happy when dollar price goes up. The problem of India is inside not outside.
